CNWL's Bloomsbury Viral Hepatitis Team celebrate World Hepatitis Day

The Bloomsbury Viral Hepatitis Team celebrated World Hepatitis Day (28 July) a few days early on Friday 26 July! Stationed outside Mortimer Market Centre on Tottenham Court Road, the team included our new Inclusive Health Consultant Dr Binta Sultan, collaborators from UCH Find and Treat team and Researchers from UCL and the Francis Crick Institute.
Peer Support workers Joy, Mustafa and Mark encouraged passers-by to learn more about Hepatitis and Dr Indrajit Ghosh offered fibroscans in the distinctive e-bike clinic! Nine people were screened for BBVs and a further 18 scanned in just five hours. Researchers Dr Emily Martyn, Dr Marion Delphin & Prof Mala Maini were on hand to discuss the latest developments. It was a very successful day of education, promotion and collaboration.
