Sexual Health Promotion Team feature in Local Government Association report on inclusion health

Our Health Promotion team, CLASH and SHOC, have been recognised in the Local Government Association’s (LGA) report about inclusion health. The report includes a case study from the team about their outreach support for sex workers in the London boroughs of Camden, Islington, and Haringey. It highlights the challenges in reaching vulnerable sex-working communities and the incredible work the team are doing to build trust, reduce barriers to healthcare and empower sex workers to take control of their health and make positive changes in their lives.
About CLASH and SHOC
CLASH and SHOC provide a free and confidential walk-in clinic for people working in the sex industry to obtain STI screening, hepatitis B vaccination, PEP and PrEP, contraception including emergency contraception, abortion referral and cervical cytology. We also offer screening and health promotion in outreach settings across Camden, Islington and Haringey.
CLASH and SHOC support the rights of sex workers to live and work safely, respecting their autonomy and privacy.
